That is exactly why Frankie, Rochelle, Una, Mollie and Vanessa called on British beauty genius Karen Betts to provide some of her stunning Let’s Go strip lashes for their latest arena tour and appearances!

With over 40 styles which include auburn lashes for fairer girls, beautifully embellished lashes that are perfect for parties and ranges called Flirt, Tease, Temptress and Heartbreaker it is no wonder that Let’s Go can transform us in seconds from girl next door to a devastatingly sexy siren and the number one choice for The Saturdays.

Celena Hancock, The Saturdays Make-up Artist says:

‘I loved using the Let’s Go lashes on The Saturdays – there were so many different styles and the girls each found a style that they loved, both onstage for a more dramatic lash and also offstage when a more natural lash was needed. They were incredibly easy to apply and were really confortable for the girls to wear. The lashes really accentuated their eye makeup and really finished off the look. I’m definitely a fan of Let’s Go and will certainly be using them again on all my clients!’.

So if you are ‘All Fired Up’ and want to rock lashes like The Saturdays visit where all styles can be purchased online now!

Confidence. It’s what beauty treatments are all about.

Posted by Nadia Burgess on January 16, 2012

I sometimes see criticism of the beauty industry for advertising treatments and products that promote beauty and youth. Some people feel that we are turning into an image and age obsessed nation.

As a beauty therapist working on a daily basis with a range of clients, I see a different side to the story.

On the surface, you might think beauty treatments are all about looks. With permanent cosmetics, for instance, I can change people’s looks – as subtly or dramatic as they wish. I can often restore what has been changed through the ageing process, or enhance what is already there.

With Contour Roller, I can rejuvenate the skin and promote increased collagen and elastin levels, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. With the amazing new A-Lift, I can take advantage of the latest technology to re-energise the actual cells in the skin – resulting in stunning changes to both the skin and muscles of the face, neck and jaw.

Whatever the treatment, however, there’s one thing that all my clients share: a desire to change how they feel about themselves – for the better. And after their treatments? I see their confidence levels soar. For me, it’s what beauty is all about.

“I felt confident to go out of the house with NO makeup on and I still felt beautiful”

Posted by Nadia Burgess on January 11, 2012

Renowned Blogger, Katie Snooks, gives a fantastic review following her Let’s Go Lashes treatment at Karen Betts Number 1 Harley Street, London.

“I am not blessed with beautiful, long, impressive eyelashes.  Mine are pretty non-existent until I whip out my mascara and apply a few coats, so I’ve always been interested in other ways of accentuating my lashes. After becoming a Glossy Box Ambassador I received two tokens which allowed me to receive a HD Brows AND a Let’s Go lash extension tatment which I quickly booked up with excitement, so that I’d be transformed and gorgeous for the Christmas party season.

I visited the Karen Betts clinic in 1 Harley Street to film and document the whole process of HD Brows &  Let’s Go Lashes extensions with Glossy Box, which will be online soon to watch.”

“The whole procedure takes around 20-30 minutes and is pretty straight forward! You and your consultant talk through the look you want to achieve with your lashes, whether it be subtle or striking.

I chose to have relatively natural looking lashes because I hardly ever wear falsies and thought it would be quite a leap to have full on false-looking lashes.

I love that you can hardly tell that they are false in the photographs (click here for photo’s) – they are attached so well and beautifully that they look so real!

What I think: I absolutely ADORED having my lashes and I miss them terribly now.  I felt confident to go out of the house with NO makeup on and I still felt beautiful – this was a pretty big deal to me who normally covers my eyes with eyeliner and eyeshadow in order to feel pretty and for once I didn’t need to do anything to ‘improve’ myself.

I will say now that I have never felt as vile looking as I did the minute they were removed, I literally felt bald, but you will get used to it.  I would have them again in a flash – but am giving my natural lashes a bit of a rest at the moment.  I am going to have them again very soon and think that the procedure would make a lovely gift as well!”.
Thanks Katie – fab, honest review!  See the review in full, with some amazing photo’s, by clicking here.
